🛒 Ingredients (Makes 4–5 Pâtés)
- 1 shortcrust pastry
- 1 jar banana fruit spread (or any fruit jam of your choice)
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)

- Prepare the Dough
Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a flat surface.
Cut into circles using a bowl or cutter. - Add the Filling
Place a spoonful of banana fruit spread on one half of each circle. - Seal the Pâtés
Fold the pastry over to form a half-moon shape.
Press the edges with your fingers or a fork to seal properly. - Egg Wash
Brush the top of each pastry with egg yolk for a golden finish. - Bake
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. - Cool & Enjoy
Let the pâtés cool slightly before eating—hot filling can burn!
