🍓Cheesecake Swirl?
A cheesecake swirl is a classic baked cheesecake featuring:
- A buttery biscuit base
- Creamy, rich cheesecake filling
- A fruity swirl (in this case banana & strawberry jam)
The swirl creates a beautiful marbled design and adds bursts of fruity flavor in every bite.
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–5)
For the Filling:
- 3 (8-ounce) packs cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup banana & strawberry fruit spread
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Fresh strawberries (optional, for garnish)
For the Base:
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Melted butter
👩🍳 Step-by-Step Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Oven & Pan
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the base with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make the Crust
Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly combined.
Press into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan.
Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Step 3: Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth (about 4 minutes).
Add sour cream and mix well.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Step 4: Add the Swirl
Pour half of the cheesecake batter into the crust.
In a small bowl, mix fruit spread with lemon juice.
Drizzle part of the mixture over the batter.
Add remaining cheesecake batter, then drizzle the rest of the fruit spread on top.
Use a knife to gently swirl and create a marbled effect.
Step 5: Bake
Bake for 60–70 minutes until:
- Edges are set
- Center is slightly wobbly
Step 6: Cool & Chill
Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
Step 7: Serve
Remove from fridge 30 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh strawberries and slice to enjoy!
