Jamco Fruit Spreads Thumbprint Cookies
✨ Ingredients (makes 18–20 cookies)
- 200g unsalted butter (softened)
- 100g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg yolk
- 250g plain flour
- Pinch of salt
- Jamco fruit spread (any flavour)
Instructions
- Preheat oven
180°C (160°C fan). Line a baking tray. - Cream butter & sugar
Beat until light and fluffy. - Add wet ingredients
Mix in egg yolk and vanilla. - Add dry ingredients
Stir in flour and salt → soft dough forms. - Shape cookies
Roll into small balls and place on the tray. - Make the thumbprint
Press gently in the centre of each (use thumb or spoon). - Add the filling
Spoon a small amount of Jamco fruit spread into each centre
(keep it smooth, not too much). - Bake
12–15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool completely
